Day 1: Arrival in Unguja Island.
Upon arrival in Unguja Island, you’ll be transferred to your chosen accommodation. Unguja is the main island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culture. Take some time to relax and unwind after your journey.
Day 2: Stone Town Exploration.
Explore Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar City and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its narrow streets, lined with unique architecture and rich history. Visit historical landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace. Immerse yourself in the bustling markets and vibrant culture of this charming town.
Day 3: Spice Tour and Jozani Forest.
Embark on a Spice Tour to discover Zanzibar’s famous spice plantations. Learn about the island’s spice trade history and taste exotic flavors. Afterward, head to the Jozani Forest Reserve, home to the rare red colobus monkeys. Take a guided nature walk and observe these playful primates in their natural habitat.
Day 4: Beach Time in Nungwi or Kendwa.
Transfer to the northern beaches of Nungwi or Kendwa. These areas offer some of the best beaches on the island. Relax on the soft white sands, swim in the clear blue waters, and indulge in water activities such as snorkeling or diving. Enjoy a mesmerizing sunset over the Indian Ocean.
Day 5: Visit Prison Island and Snorkeling.
Take a boat trip to Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Explore the island’s history, including a visit to the old prison and the giant tortoise sanctuary. Later, head to a nearby coral reef for an unforgettable snorkeling experience, witnessing the vibrant marine life and colorful corals.
Day 6: Departure from Unguja Island.
